Reconnecting with Audiences: Brent Reidy Blogs for The James Irvine Foundation

June 17, 2015

The James Irvine Foundation website blog features a new post by AEA Consultant Brent Reidy on how arts organizations are rethinking the way they connect with their audiences by exploring alternative performance and exhibition spaces. Brent shares wide-ranging examples of recent practices, including Loft Opera in Brooklyn, Beverly Area Arts Alliance in Chicago, and Opera on the Beach in Italy.

The blog follows up on the Why “Where”? Because “Who” study recently conducted by AEA, which examines why and how place has become an important variable for arts practitioners to consider as they chart a course for the future.
