Libby specializes in capital projects, strategic and business planning with an emphasis on the visual arts and museums. Since joining AEA in 2003, Libby has been involved in planning large-scale cultural development projects in Hong Kong, Italy, New York, and Azerbaijan, and other strategic and facilities planning clients have included The Frick Collection, The Victoria and Albert Museum, London’s Design Museum, The National Museum of Australia, San Francisco Opera, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and The Esplanade in Singapore.

Libby has 15 years of consulting and senior management experience in the cultural sector. She has a particular interest in issues related to museum collections and international cultural policy, including international strategies for museums, and in 2006 co-organized a colloquium at the Sterling and Francis Clark Art Institute, Reshaping the Museum Collection in the 21st Century. Libby received her B.A. in art history from Kent State University and did her graduate work in art history and comparative literature at Indiana University. She lives with her husband, Adrian Ellis, in New York City and Cold Spring, New York.
