Alyssa Cartwright
Events Operations ManagerAlyssa oversees the seamless delivery of the Global Cultural Districts Network’s (GCDN) convenings, communications, and daily operations. Working closely with GCDN’s Director, she manages many aspects of event planning, program coordination, and workflow to ensure high-quality experiences for members and partners around the world.
With a background in visual arts and creative project management, Alyssa brings a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to managing complex projects. Beyond convening planning and delivery, she plays a central role in curating GCDN’s intellectual agenda, supports the production of its podcast and publications, and strengthens internal systems and sustainability initiatives across AEA.
Before joining AEA and GCDN, she worked with artist Jacob Hashimoto on the production of his large-scale installations and has also held roles in fulfillment management and interior design. She holds a B.F.A. with honors in Painting and Drawing from the State University of New York at New Paltz and continues to draw inspiration from creative collaboration in all its forms.
