Since joining AEA in 2011, he has applied his skills to projects for more than 200 clients in the U.S. and fifteen other countries around the world. Across this work, he helps clients bring clarity to complex decisions, develop financially viable models, and turn ambitious ideas into successful cultural projects.
His project work has included:
- Developing financial models and business plans for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston, and The Shed in New York;
- Conducting space planning and capital project feasibility work for Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Glenbow in Calgary, and CERN in Geneva;

Prior to joining AEA, Daniel worked on exhibitions and installations in venues around New York, and was part of the New City Reader team for The Last Newspaper exhibition at the New Museum in 2010. He previously also worked in Citigroup’s investment bank, where he advised financial sponsors on capital markets and strategic transactions.
Daniel is a creative thinker drawn to challenges that require reimagining systems and developing effective business models in both commercial and not-for-profit settings. He is especially interested in how people gather and in projects that explore new uses for urban and third spaces and connect people in unexpected ways. This interest extends to his work across creative civic spaces, and to his belief that cultural projects can advance meaningful economic and social impact.
Daniel holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s NEXT New York cohort, and he is a mentor at NEW INC, the New Museum’s creative incubator.
