Eirini Iliopoulou Tsopela
Summer AnalystEirini brings a background in communications, cultural management, and the performing arts. Before joining AEA, she worked across professional services, higher education, and advertising, most recently at a cultural advertising agency in Athens, where she developed marketing strategies for theatres, production companies, and major festivals.
Alongside her professional experience, Eirini has researched participatory programming and community engagement, examining how cultural organisations navigate funding structures while pursuing artistic goals and creating and demonstrating social impact. She is interested in how cultural institutions can build meaningful relationships with their communities while supporting long-term financial sustainability and public value. She is also interested in public spaces that integrate arts, education, and wellbeing, with an emphasis on participation and inclusion.
Eirini holds a B.A. in Communication and Mass Media from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an M.A. in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London. She is fluent in English and Greek and speaks conversational German.
