AEA is continuing its work with the BIG Team in HUD's Rebuild by Design competition, with the idea for "The Big U" selected to continue forward for additional research and study with local community leaders over the next five months. The Big U envisions a tailor-designed, community driven, integrated flood protection system, wrapping Manhattan from West 57th Street down to The Battery and up to East 42nd Street.
