Becky Schutt speaks at The International Summit on Sensory/Relaxed Performances

As Chair of the UK Relaxed Performance Project, AEA's Becky Schutt spoke at The International Summit on Sensory/Relaxed Performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC on October 27-28, 2014.

Twenty invited experts, including individuals with disabilities, families, arts organizations (UK's National Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse, and Seattle Children's Theatre), and researchers from Australia, France, United Kingdom, and the United States participated in the intensive two-day meeting. Chaired by Roger Ideishi of Temple University, one outcome of the Summit included collaborative international initiatives to increase access to cultural arts for individuals with developmental disabilities.
