Cleveland Orchestra reports surplus, endowment growth, and larger audiences

The Cleveland Orchestra reported that it saw increased revenues, a budget surplus, and a strengthened balance sheet in its most recently completed fiscal year. The report follows similar good news over the past couple of years, making the Orchestra a beacon of success in times that are generally considered challenging for symphony orchestras nationally.

AEA Consulting worked with the Orchestra last year to assess and improve the experience of its visitors at Severance Hall. Several of the recommendations we developed with the Orchestra's management and Board have already been put into place, helping to attract and retain audiences for, and supporters of, one of the world's greatest symphony orchestras.
