SAG Foundation Breaks Ground on New York Actors Center
May 1, 2015
The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is expanding its presence in New York City, and has just broken ground on their New York Actors Center. The 4,000-square-foot space is being developed in the Broadway theatre district, and will house a state-of-the-art screening room with cinema-style seating, green room and lobby. Set to open in February 2016, the Center will alsobe home to workshops, seminars and free professional programs for its members. SAGF has also, for the first time, hired a director of development based in New York. AEA worked closely with the SAG Foundation in 2012-13 on their strategy, including delivering a feasibility study for the New York Actors Center.
Congratulations to the SAG team!
