AEA was commissioned to manage the cultural strategy for Bring New Orleans Back (BNOB), the Mayoral Task Force responsible for developing recovery strategies for critical sectors of the New Orleans economy post-Hurricane Katrina. Funded by a grant from the Louise T. Blouin Foundation, we worked with the committee chairs, served the committee, and managed and undertook the analytical work that provided the framework for philanthropic and public funding for New Orleans’ cultural sector from 2007 onwards, remaining the core framework for foundation giving there.
